Review by hotel critic
During my recent city break at Comfort Inn Kofu Showa Inter, I found the experience to be a suitable blend of comfort and hospitality, perfect for my family-oriented travel style. The air-conditioned room was clean and well-equipped, featuring thoughtful touches such as a pillow menu, flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle waiting for me to brew some green tea after a long day exploring nearby attractions like the Takeda Shrine. While the car park was a bit full, the complimentary parking further down the road was an unexpected bonus, allowing us to stroll back while discussing our day's adventures. Breakfast was basic but fair, offering a continental and Japanese flair that suited our tastes, and it provided a nice opportunity for my daughters to try some local flavors. The staff's warmth and helpfulness stood out, effortlessly overcoming the language barrier as they made us feel right at home. Comfort Inn Kofu is a solid choice for anyone needing a comfortable place to stay while exploring the region.
